Group workshops are an amazing setting to learn about the world of emotions, empathy and the world of Dynamic Emotional Integration. The hive-mind genius is a real element and we all learn from each other in every session.
Groups are small, between 4 and 10 which gives a great opportunity for some personalized attention, lots of questions and to get to know your fellow attendees.
Dive into your unique individual experience with emotions for a clear understanding of how you currently react to specific feelings and how it isn't working for you anymore. We then craft a new response and exercise a more balanced relationship with your emotions to create a powerful impact in your life. The session includes 45min discussion and exploration of the current situation, a 15min body-based practice, and a follow-up summary of your experience, full of observations and practices to shift engagement strategies and measurements to gauge your progress.
Some workshops are one short burst, while others are set in a series style to build upon the content each week.

Consultations are 1 hour in total, including the in depth summary and home practices to increase emotion engagement.
Price - $200 CAN
This year we're spending more time with each emotion in order to let ourselves become reacquainted with this aspect of ourselves without rush or haste.
Each workshop series will focus on one emotion in a sequence of 3-1.5 hour sessions. Learning, experiencing and feeling different elements of each emotion will guide the flow of the workshop.
Keeping a small group size of up to 6 people allows us to be more at ease as we enter these emotional waters. It will also hopefully create a powerful group dynamic of support and care.
If there’s ever been an emotion we need to better understand, it's anger. If we can't harness the functional elements of anger, we automatically decrease in ability to regulate and flow with any emotion. If you want to better understand boundaries and how anger supports mutual respect in communication this workshop is for you. It comes as a surprise to many that anger helps point out what we value rather than just be an explosive force.
Uncovering the genius in anger opens doors to improving your ability to distinguish between yourself and others. Having a home base that is yours, a place where you're always grounded and welcome can totally change everything if you've been operating without that. Learning how anger helps identify what needs to be protected and restored in a way that doesn't require fights and unproductive conflict taps you into a resource that will support you every day.
Dates: Sunday evenings at 5-6:30pm PST on April 7th, 14th and 21st
Where: Live on Zoom
Cost: $200 CAD
Recordings are available for a period of time after the series is completed.

Harnessing the power of engaging with our emotions through their unique questions is a critical skillset to have when building up your strength to flow with your emotions.
We will go over how emotions are activated and when engaged with accurately, will naturally recede on their own. The focus so often is on getting the emotion to stop and rarely focuses on how to communicate with the emotions themselves in order to receive the information being brought forward.
We eliminate that struggle here and build up a reliable and reusable set of emotion engagement skills to help you whenever they happen to come up.
Shame is one of those emotions that can send us running, and it will continue to do so until we upgrade and update our understanding of this vital emotion.
This is an introductory level workshop; we will cover the functional role of shame within our emotional eco-system along with its gifts, engagement questions, signs of obstruction and the unfortunately common experience where others' influence reaches deeper than it should.
Coming closer to looking at shame requires us to peel back a few layers of societal conditioning, personal experiences and visceral responses of the body. We will tread softly and slowly with a combination of instruction, reflection and rejuvenation practices to help support us in moving through the workshop.
Emotions are everywhere and while there are universal, they are also personal. Emotion work is way to deepen your personal connection and relationship with not just emotions at large, but with your emotions. Deepening our ability to identify and feel our emotions in the activation sequence increases our channeling capacity and helps to reduce the amount of stagnant emotional energy that can get stuck in our bodys' systems.
Workshop Takeaways: In this workshop we're going to be spending time with each emotion from the Anger and Sadness families for a universal introduction, then dive into a personal understanding of what your anger, shame, sadness etc presents like. What happens to your body, your energy, your thinking, your actions in the presence of each emotion. Knowing the indicators of how an emotion rises for you can completely empower how we engage with our emotional experiences.
Myth: Emotions are the problem or something I need to get rid of.
Truth: Emotions are second. They rise as a response to an event or situation happening and they bring forward information to help.
Myth: Emotions don't go away on their own.
Truth: once activated there is a built-in sequence that if followed, will have emotions receding on their own.

It's a radical shift to orient to emotions working in a process; come and learn something new!

That yellow umbrella is in a sea of green ones. The photo is so striking in showing the lines of distinction from one to many others. People are kind of like that too.
For each of us, we are self; everyone else is an other. And to everyone else, you stand in the place of other with them in the position of self.
What if that skill of self-defining is not functioning optimally? Perhaps there is a sense of going along with the crowd, not being certain of your own space or values. Maybe you have not stood up for your own inclusion or have learned to silence your own voice to always make things easier for others.
There are many ways and variations to having poor boundaries. In some relationships, we may have healthy mutually-respectful boundaries, but all of our skills may disappear with other people or situations.
Anger is the emotion that can help restore relationships because it is the emotion that lights up and makes you aware of where 'you' begin and end by creating and restoring the defining boundary of self.
For the longest time, I viewed boundaries as a separation - a wall between one thing, person, experience and another. A divide. Boundaries aren't that. They show the distinction between two things and this distinction brings the opportunity for a relationship to develop between them. Let's spend some time together diving into that.
Workshop Takeaways:
There are some surprising elements to resilience that if unknown, often become the hurdle that trips us up and keeps us in a cycle of repeating patterns.
Let's get conscious of our personal roadblocks to what is standing in the way of our relationship with our resources (both internal and external).
In this workshop we will:
There's no room for this type of reflection once you're immersed in a situation or event that challenges you. You pack the first-aid kit before someone needs it; building a relationship with your support resources and resilience is no different. Join in, for this interactive and life-changing workshop on how you relate to self-support.
Every emotion takes a hit now and again, but the stigma surrounding anxiety is pretty much constant. The range of experiences that are connected to anxiety also complicate matters in knowing what to do to improve the situation.
Let's break out of looking at anxiety as something to overcome by learning it's message, what questions to ask in order to engage with it and how to ensure it's actually the emotion of anxiety in the first place (if we've misnamed, we're still lost).

What if it's not anxiety?
The damage done when we avoid anxiety is costly, because in suppressing all that energy it comes back magnified in its' intensity. But what if it isn't anxiety that you are feeling? Getting clear on what anxiety looks like (and doesn't look like) is key.
Emotion intensity levels occur on a spectrum as well. When can you navigate anxiety and when does it get unworkable?
Being able to identify and name our emotions correctly opens such huge potential for awareness and change.
Takeaways:
Freedom from the misidentification of anxiety opens so much space for anxiety to be given some much needed solo attention.
Let's start building some emotional intelligence skills.
Anxiety is present within our behavioural structures of how we get things done. We fall into one of two styles when navigating anxiety (or a combo of both). Let's discover your style to better navigate and understand how anxiety is working for you in your life!
Do you wait until the last minute to complete tasks or do you get things done way far ahead of time? Understanding how anxiety rises and responds uniquely in you is key to noticing when and the circumstances needed begin to bring your attention to task completion and planning. What are the signals sent? When do you notice them?
Takeaways:
Procrastinators get ready, this week has the power to really shift your perspective!
The Time Traveller.
Anxiety works in different times. It's the future planner, a past harvester and present in its' actions. With its' get it done purpose, the energy of anxiety can be destabilizing if not understood and creates some of the difficulties we experience when navigating this emotion.
Without knowing the underlying purposes of anxietys' time travel functions, getting caught up in patterns of obstruction can really throw off our equilibrium in the present moment.
Takeaways:
Anxiety - Emotion Tending Alert System
Would it surprise you to know that anxiety works as an alert system for all other emotions when they need attention? Anxiety rises to draw you to where emotions are present, but sometimes we miss that message and are confused as to why we are feeling anxious.
Releasing the focus from anxiety always being about anxiety and opening to what other emotion is calling for your attention can really shift your working relationship with anxiety into something new.
Takeaways:
Which emotions are partners to the way your anxiety works?
Knowing that anxiety often shows up with other emotions is sometimes a surprise. What if anxiety is arriving as a helper alongside another emotion, but its' energy and arrival throw you off your channeling skills.
Being able to take note of your anxiety partners is a powerful asset to being able to channel the energy anxiety brings forward.
Emotions often play together, diving into those connections up-levels your skillset and emotional intelligence.
